Lucky Coin

Lucky Coin is one of those games that looks trivial in a screenshot and quietly eats an afternoon. You control a single coin and your job is to roll it from the start of each little wooden maze to a glowing slot at the end. Tilt panels, springboards, and a few timed gates get in the way, and the whole thing runs on physics that feel just weighty enough to be satisfying.

Controls are all touch. You swipe to nudge the coin and hold to charge a longer roll, and there's a nice bit of momentum to learn — early levels forgive sloppy flicks, later ones absolutely do not. What impressed me is how readable the layouts stay even as they get busier. I never lost a run because I couldn't tell where the coin would land; I lost because I was greedy with the charge meter.

The presentation is warm and low-key: soft wood textures, a light clinking sound on every bounce, and a difficulty curve that respects your time. It's the kind of thing I keep on the home screen for a five-minute break that turns into twenty.
